Cross Country season has started, and with new shoes, we headed out to our first race. In this 2 mile race, there were 4 relay teams from my school and a JV race. I got the opportunity to run on a relay team which was very exciting. Overall our team came in doing relatively well for losing some of our top runners. I ended up beating my time from last year (17:52) by approx. 20 seconds ending up at 17:35 this year. (Okay well maybe it was only 17 seconds but oh well!!!) Thank you to all my relay-mates, you did amazing!
A glimpse into a my life. The average, yet not so average life of a teenage girl trying to survive drama, college and the real world while still reaching for her dreams.

You guys were awesome!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your PR!
Set a goal for Saturday and kick butt!
xoxoxo
You put in a great effort under tough conditions. We're proud of you - hope you're proud of yourself! Looking foward to a wet run on Saturday!
ReplyDeleteThat's it? I want more.
ReplyDeleteWish you read this before tomorrow's race - but at least the thought is out there...grab it by osmosis. Good luck at Oatland - have fun, but push hard! It's only a TV show . . . and you can do anything for less than 30 minutes!
Love you!
